Ms. Dorian is an Atlanta native, and graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has an AMS certification in Early Childhood Education. After college, she went on to teach for 7 years at The Suzuki School, which is a Montessori school here in Atlanta. She taught in all subjects which included; Mathematics, Language, Social Studies, Science, Practical Life, Sensorial, Movement, and Music.
Ms. Dorian truly appreciates the fostering of independence and diversity in education. She recognizes that not all children learn in the same manner and that each child has certain abilities and interests. Having a heart for service, Ms. Dorian created Suzuki Cares at her previous school which is a Community Outreach Group. The group blended project-based learning & civic engagement to provide intentional community service experiences to teachers, staff, students,& families.
In her spare time, she enjoys family time, dancing, and traveling.
